I *DID* do the revert, and the folder status icon still shows the + no
matter how many times I hit F5, so I presumed that wasn't how you do it.
  I guess I've should have tried committing as the folder status icons
are very often wrong in my version (1.2.4).

The folder status icons in the version I'm using don't seem to be at all
reliable, but as far as I'm aware, there is no newer "special needs"
version and I develop exclusively for ASP.NET.

Sorry for the trivial question but the behaviour was confusing.
