I can and do it regulary. Maybe I can, because I didn't know
it doesn't work? :-)

I multi-select the folders of the parent WC and the nested WCs,
right-click, commit. The commit dialog shows "multiple targets"
(or something like that) and everything works fine.

It's sometimes a bit annoying, because in some explorer views
the selection is cleared when right-clicking a few pixels
away from the right spot and sometimes I forget to commit the
nested WCs - that's why I'm asking. The TSVN part of it all
works fine.
