TSVNCache.exe holds open file handle on each local drive

The TSVNCache.exe process holds an open file handle on each local drive. In
this specific case, the F: drive is a SDI drive image file that I briefly
mounted with a Microsoft utility. When I try to unmount it, I get a "cannot
be stopped now" error, which indicates that some process has a handle open on
the drive. And there it is, the Tortoise cache process. I have to force that
handle closed, or kill the process, before I can unmount the drive.

Thanking you in advance.
