You are definitely right. It should be improved step by step -
not in one giant leap, I guess.

Hm ... I think this is a good proposal. So I am +1 for it. However,
one should be aware of the implications:

* TSVN development will be based on "fixed" (maybe tagged)
  SVN versions (e.g. 1.3.0rc2 instead 1.3.x).
* You still need a process to create the libraries from source
  in a *reproduceable* way. This process will be less mature /
  dummy proof then the build process of the TSVN main product.

Absolutely. The focus should be getting TSVN back to level
it was before the transition to VS2k5. For me, life will already
be much simpler then.
