The problem with file overlays not updating in explorer *after* a commit
but *before* F5 should be fixable. It was working when the commit dialog
sent those notifications itself, and when it told the cache to send
notifications. I think it is after the directory watcher arrived that it
stopped working.

This is the same problem that Amichai was reporting on the users list.
