problems applying patches created by tortoiseSVN in linux

Hi

I searched the archives, issue list and google and can't find anyone
dealing with a similar issue.

All patches submitted to my project that have been created by
tortoiseSVN fail to apply, I get failed hunks for each change in a given
file. I suspect it's a whitespace issue.

If I boot up vmware with a windows install the patch is fine *only* when
it's applied with tortoiseSVN's tools.

Any ideas?
