I'm aware of the points you state.

Try to check out:

http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/svn/tortoisesvn/trunk/Languages/

Then go into the wc and right click Tortoise.pot and choose TortoiseSVN
-> Delete. Now right click somewhere in the folder and choose "SVN
Add...". The dialog now suggests Tortoise.pot to add. If you do, the
operation will fail since the file doesn't exist. The problem did not
exist in 1.2.4.
