Indeed it does (now)

Sure, but I checked in Firefox only after the message appeared
in the Tortoise dialog (check for updates), it was reporting 1.2.5
as the latest release, when 1.2.6 was installed.

I hadn't looked at the version.txt url for ages, not since it was last
missed in the release process (hence the email), so I don't believe
it was a local cache issue.

Anyhow, no dramas.
