Checkout using a path

Hi,

I just tried to checkout from a local repository I created under F:\SVN\Foo.
After opening the Checkout dialog I entered "F:\SVN\Foo" for "URL of repository"
and specified a checkout directory.

The checkout failed with:
Error: 'F:\SVN\Foo' is not a working copy

This error message is rather confusing and I don't understand it. I never tried
to use "F:\SVN\Foo" as working copy, so what does Subversion want to tell me?

After some attempts I realized that I had to enter "file:///F:\SVN\Foo" to get
it working. I thought this worked without file:/// some time ago?

Could TSVN convert normal paths automatically to file:/// URLs behind the
scenes? It already does this for paths chosen by the "..." button.

Using TortoiseSVN 1.3.0, Build 4807 - 32 Bit

Regards, Rainer
