Worth mentioning is of course that I'm accessing the repository over
http and modauthz is used for authentication.

Here's a recipe that works for me:
- Check out a repository with some content in it
- Remove all rights for yourself from the authz access control of a
folder in that repository
- Right click on that folder in explorer and choose "Revision Graph"
- See the error box w.o. message.

If that does not work for you, what error message do you get when you
try a "Show Log" on that folder?
