I know about the setting. In 98% of the cases, I just want it to close automatically. My comment about more options was for things like Cleanup, which doesn't close. In that case, I'd like an audio feedback and that's it, for instance. What I'm really looking for tho (the former is simply a nice-to-have), is a checkbox on the page similar to IE's download window. It's been a while since I've seen that (since I've been using Firefox for a year, now); but I'm pretty sure it was linked to the default setting so it would be checked to stay open or unchecked to close automatically. I would like to see something similar. I don't want checking or unchecking to change the default action, really. I just want a way to override the default if I see something that I might want to look at or I know ahead of time that I want to review the action.
Does that make sense? I feel like I'm not explaining it very well. Basically, I want: tsvn update, check checkbox, dialog stays open; or, tsvn update, uncheck checkbox, dialog closes.

I've got some problems understanding what you actually want. Do you want a checkbox before every action you do to indicate if you want to keep the resulting dialog?
