Exclude/Ignore pattern

On a similar thread, Simon said that the syntax for the Exclude/Ignore
pattern in TSVN General Settings was really a Subversion question. That
may be, but I can't figure out how TSVN implements the Exclude/Ignore
pattern (so I don't know how I'd be expected to know that : ).

Changing the value in the General Settings dialog does not change the
global-ignores in the Subversion config file, so that's not it. There is
something more going on.

Could you please shed some light, so I know what question to ask on the
Subversion mailing lists. Thanks!
