[TSVN] TortoiseSVN 1.2.4.4479 msi breaks Office 97 (sorta)

After installing TortoiseSVN 1.2.4.4479 from the msi file, VB6 started
really slowly
(first time gave an error); Access 97 started and ran e x t r e m e l y
slowly.

Re-applying the Office 97 Service Pack 2b fixed it, so I imagine it's
.DLLitis
of some sort (maybe something got unregistered?).
