Oh geez... My apologies... I only ever noticed the 'Diff Viewer' and
'Merge Tool' settings, completely blocked out the 'Unified Diff Viewer'.
My mistake...

...and thanks Simon for your suggestion. I use EditPlus 2
myself, but I'm always looking out for better text editors... I'll
give yours a try.
