Hi,
I would like to give a suggestion for a new feature.
Here in my company we have a proxy which is not configured with WebDAV
requests. All requests for checking out a repository through http are
denied when it's outside our network (in the Internet). I don't want
to go bother the network admin because I can do checkouts through
https (secure http). We also have some repositores hosted under an
Apache server, inside our network. When we want to access a repository
at the Internet, we should go to TSVN configuration and enable the
proxy. When we want to access a repository inside our network, we
switch the TSVN's proxy configuration off. We have to switch it from
time to time. It would be nice if there was an option like there is in
Internet Explorer where you can specify for which addresses you don't
want to use the proxy, so that we could turn the proxy on and put our
svn server's address in the exception list. To check this option, open
IE, select Internet Options in the Tools menu, switch to Connections
tab, click on LAN Settings button, click on the Advanced button which
is in the Proxy Server group. You will see an Exceptions field where
you can put those addresses.
Thoughts?
My regards,
