Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the size of them. I
completely agree with you that installing them all would be acceptable.
However, if someone decided the impetus for providing the option for
icon sets (and dictionaries, for that matter), then this would be an
obvious follow-on requirement. It may have low importance, but I think
that one without the other is kind of pointless - at least for new users
who haven't seen the different icon sets.

The icon sets are pretty small at only 150k each. The installer should
just install all of them and you can choose which one you want after
installation. It's not like you save a significant amount of disk space
by not installing a few icon sets. Disk space these days is REALLY
cheap.
