Show Log of file A in working copy. Log is shown from HEAD on to
revision 1. You select two revisions (e.g. rev 200 and rev 300) in the
log dialog, then choose "compare". The peg revision in this case would
be WC (or HEAD if you started the log dialog from the repository
browser).

There are other cases where peg revisions are used, but I don't think
you expect me to mention them all here ;)
