If a cleanup didn't help, then the revisions you want to merge contain a
path which isn't in your working copy. For example, your working copy is
checked out from
/trunk/project1/src
but the merge contains paths from
/trunk/project1/doc

In that case, you would most likely get such an error too.

If nothing else helps, check out a fresh working copy and try again. If
that still doesn't help, check every path in the revisions you want to
merge.
