If I understand you correctly you would create a new directory
d:\tsvn\something and then checkout / non-recursively to this directory.

ok, but I would prefer to have the same structure in the repository and
locally, so that /trunk, /branches, tags and /aaaaaaa.txt are all in the same
directory, i.e. d:\tsvn\

Thanks Stefan, that ist exactly what I was looking for. I have the same
directory structure locally and have the possibility to update
none-recursively.
