Ah sorry, thought I'd included that detail. Even though I am the only one
with access to the repository right now, I did try updating after getting
that message. There were no changed files and the error message didn't go
away.
Oh I also forgot the full text of the message:

Error: Out of date: 'ClientLink' in transaction '319-1'
Error: You have to update your working copy first.

Sorry about leaving those details out, I got so caught up finding version
information I forgot to mention a couple things.
