Edit a file (change its status from 'normal' to 'modified'), press F5,
revert the file again.
This should update the cache.

No, unfortunately there's no explorer hook to intercept the F5.
You can try a 'cleanup' - but I removed the notification code
yesterday so that won't update the cache anymore. I readd it again for
the 'cleanup' command.
