I'd suggest Nant. Used it at work with the CCNet
(http://confluence.public.thoughtworks.org/display/CCNET/Welcome+to+CruiseControl.NET)
build bot and it was a wonderful combination. It essentially put me out
of work ;)
Nant on it's own can be packaged into source tree for very easy builds
with no additional installs then .NET FW.
Nant did support C++, but there where limitations at the time I used it
(a year ago or so).
