Hello,

Judging from the threads' length and the arguments exchanged I understand
that many users are very against including the dictionaries while others
are quite indifferent. I also understand that you as the main contributor
to TSVN have good arguments for including the dictionaries.

Time for a compromise, I guess :-)

The dictionaries / thesauruses (is that the plural?) are definitely
language-dependent so I'd suggest to include them in the LanguagePacks
and make LanguagePacks with and without dictionaries available.

This won't complicate the deployment process too much, I hope. Users
can download the LanguagePack most suitable for their needs. Users with
low or expensive bandwith that would like to use the spell checker could
also download a big LanguagePack once and upgrade to new versions with
small ones.

An open issue are the English dictionaries. Should there be English
LanguagePacks or two versions of the msi? AFAIK there are different
Dictionaries available for different flavours of English so I personally
prefer having LaguagePacks for US, UK and - say - Texas. :-)

Kind regards

Sven
