Hi Nick and list,

I understand your frustration at not being able to select with just
dragging the mouse, but are you saying that in all the time you've used
windows you never noticed that if you hold down shift and click it
selects all the text between the cursor's current position and where you
clicked?
I thought shift clicking was a common way to select text. It works in
all the text editors I've used, including word and notepad.

Regardless of intuition i think being able to click and drag to select
lines in TMerge would be a great addition, but once you know how to do
it it's not really an issue.
Do we need to add an Edit menu with Copy in it too? People who have used
menus in windows for years might not think to try Ctrl-C. (Sorry Nick. I
couldn't resist.)
Cheers,
Nathan
