It does exactly the same as the VBS.
In fact, the COM calls are stolen (copy/pasted) from the VBS.

I'll shrink the exe to 1/10th of the VBS size, if that's a problem.

The .exe version could easily make use of tortoise.pot, I seriously
doubt that the .VBS have an advantage here.
