It is not very obvious to a user that it will behave like a control,
because it *looks* much more like a text editor (even though it's not)
than any of the normal controls which have that behaviour.

OTOH, it is fairly obvious that you can only select whole lines, which
is not standard editor behaviour.

I don't see anything wrong with the way it is, but we don't document
anywhere how to select multiple lines, so I will try to improve the
description (when the repo comes back online).
