RE: [TSVN] Locking Explorer due to TSVNCache?

Jens et al,

I get a similar lockup every time a delete a file anywhere on my system
(even out of WCs - like the desktop).

Basically, the progress dialog is shown and the file is actually deleted...
However the progress bar is still 'working' until I kill TSVNCache or click
cancel. Clicking cancel closes the progress bar, although the file/folder
has already been deleted long ago.

This was introduced in 1.2, and it's quite annoying. Basically you have to
hit delete, watch the folder window to see when it's all deleted then click
cancel hoping the operation was complete.

Thanks,

Tatham Oddie

Subject: [TSVN] Locking Explorer due to TSVNCache?

Steps to reproduce:

1) Directory with >200 text files under Subversion control (ranging
from a few bytes to 4MB)
2) Show directory in Explorer
3) Press Ctrl-a, deselect the .svn directory, if it was selected.
4) Press "Delete", say "Yes" to remove all files.

=> 100% CPU consumed by TSVNCache.exe
That single window of Explorer does not update anymore (is locked)

Has this already been mentioned here?
Can you reproduce it (with a nightly build)?

Version info (on Win2K --- it's the published tsvn 1.2.0, not a nightly
build):

TortoiseSVN 1.2.0, Build 3602
Subversion 1.2.0,
apr 0.9.6
apr-iconv 0.9.5
apr-utils 0.9.6
berkeley db 4.3.27
neon 0.24.7
OpenSSL 0.9.7g 11 Apr 2005
zlib 1.2.2
