[TSVN] Wish: Case-insensitivity within files

Hi to all,

I have problems when I'm using VB6 and SVN/TSVN.
I would like to have a case-insensitivity for my source
files. I already posted the problem to the Subversion
mailing list. But haven't got a solution.
Anyway, I found out that a solution in svn is not sufficient
since it should be also reflected in tsvn. However, it
might be possible that only a change in tsvn is necessary
to manage the problem (I'm not sure).

So what I simply want is that text files (source code) can
be compared case-insensitively. But I don't mean just the diff
viewer where those changes can be ignored. It should also
be visible by the state symbol in the explorer (only a red
sign when something has changed that is not just a case change).

Even better would it be if case changes only are recognized
within strings. Other case changes could be ignored.

Just a question: is the diff or merge programm used to determine
the state symbol or does this happen internally or even by svn?

For a background:

Here is my original positing to the SVN mailing list:

And here is an further explanation.

Thanks,
Robert
