[TSVN] Doubleclick in log dialog

After upgrading to TSVN 1.2.0 I noticed that double click no longer
works in log dialog.
I have seen nothing about this change in either relnotes or maillist
archive, but
after browsing the repository I found that this functionality was
simply removed in r3398 with justification "to avoid a false
doubleclick when clicking fast to select between different revisions".
I see some problems with this change:

  1) Viewing diff is extremely common operation in log dialog, perhaps
the most common one. It is very unconvinient to use context menu every
time. So, even if the points below are rejected, please, could we at
least have this back as an option?

  2) AFAIU, "select between different revisions" is only possible in
the revisions list in upper part of the dialog. But what about the
lower part, the files list? I see no possibility for conflict there.

  3) The "false doubleclick" is actually a problem with Windows
double-click timing, and TSVN has nothing to do with it. If the user
has set the timing loo low, he will encounter all sorts of problems in
every application -- thus IMHO the whole motivation for this change is
suspect.
