They already do have an option. Control Panel->Sounds lets you turn the
sounds on and off for various programs. Looking at the Sound options on
my PC, there are quite a few programs which do this, not just Windows
itself. We could put that functionality in the program, but it would be
duplicating what is already built into Windows.

Checking the Windows scheme sounds like a good idea, but I am not sure
whether the WiX install builder supports that.
