Good point. I will update that bit.

Locking will not work very well with a 1.1.x client (you _must_ have a
1.2.x server of course). The client will not make files with the
svn:needs-lock property read-only, and you cannot get and release locks
from the 1.1.x client. The server will still block commits from _any_
client if a file is locked by someone else, but that is only half a
solution. you can set up the server with post-lock and post-unlock hooks
so that it sends a warning email when a file gets locked, as a warning
to older clients. The best way is to upgrade the NT4 machines if you
can.
