Great, I just tried the RC2, enabled "Don't fetch status for context menu"
and the delay is gone! You can't believe how happy I am with that solution.

Thank's guys, especially you Stefan!

BTW, that option should be mentioned on the FAQ under "TortoiseSVN seems
very slow on big directories".
