The bad news: It (still/again) hangs in build 3289.

The good news: I seem to be able to reproduce it:

- Start up windows
- immediatly (don't wait for windows to finish starting things up) open
explorer (Win-E)
- go to root of wc
- click (in left pane) on subfolder of wc with local modifications
- right pane stays white, explorer doesn't respond to anything

Some info about my wc:
- It's 94MB, in 2707 files in 250 folders.
- The subfolder I click is 31MB, in 835 files, in 128 folder
(that's excluding the .svn folders)
- the local modifications are 7 changed files 5 layers deep (same folder)

Some observations:
- only one explorer window is open
- killing the explorer process (without killing TSVNCache.exe) and
starting explorer again with taskmanager results in a new hang, this
time while explorer is (re)drawing the icons on the desktop (There is
*no* wc on my desktop btw)
- killing the TSVNCache process fixes the hang.
- If I only view the root wc folder, it takes some time (20 seconds or
so) to show a "modified" overlay on the subfolder. The other subfolder
show the correct "up-to-date" overlay immediatly
- If I wait until the "modified" overlay appears before clicking the
subfolder, everything works smoothly.

Windows XP Pro, SP1

Let me know if you need more testing from my side. I might actually find
time to do it :P

Roel Harbers
