[TSVN] Proposed new feature in Tortoise

Dear Tortoise,
I'm using your software and in one word : HAPPY !

My purpose is to keep track of documentation delivered by multiple companies
within our satellite development project.
As such, we don't have control over the nomenclature used to name the files
and it happens often that names include version information.
For example a file is called myfile-1.doc at issue 1 and myfile-2.doc at
issue 2.
In order to keep track of various versions, one must first rename the old
file to the new name, then over-write it with the actual new file and finally
commit the change.
It works fine but I have the feeling this is a recurring process that could
be automated within Tortoise (e.g. a "Paste" function that would allow
renaming and over-writing in one go, of course the commit must remain).

What do you think ?

Thank you in any case for the good job !

With regards,
            Pierrik Vuilleumier
