How about a 'lock' symbol for those files on which you have a lock and a 'no
entry' overlay on the files on which somebody else has a lock?
I'm beginning to think we need a project to work out if there's a way round
the overlay icon limits! I suspect it would probably be a replacement for
explorer rather than an extension though...
Are we getting to a point where we're worried about too many separate things
at once - would it be better just to concentrate at first on what we would
like to have, and then we can worry about the practical limits, prioritize
overlays etc?
And a suggestion/question - would there be any benefit in another context
menu option to check for changes to lock status for files in the wc or
should this be covered by the 'check for modifications' item?
