Server 1.1.x yes yes yes(1)

So if the server is 1.1.x and the client is tsvn-1.2.x, and you use the
new log api and ask it to only return 50 messages, will the server just
return all, or will it return an error code saying it can't handle this?
  That is what I'm asking. Will TSVN still work or will some
functionality suddenly give errors because you are using the new API
that asn't available with the older server?
