RE: [TSVN] Commit Dialog Changed Files

It takes about 30 seconds and there are about 4,500 files in the directory
but that number includes all of the .svn files and a lot of other files that
aren't in Subversion. The point is that the cache process has already
discovered the status of all of the files or else it wouldn't be able to
show me the proper folder overlays. so if it already knows all of the files
statuses. why wouldn't it be nearly instantaneous to show the files in the
commit dialog?

I'm curious as to why it takes so long for the changed files to be listed in
the commit dialog when the cache obviously contains all of the information
that the dialog needs to display (ie. all of the file/directory overlays
already have been set to the correct images)??

How long does it take? How many files & directories in total? How many were
modified?
