I'd be surprised if emacs didn't have a subversion interface of some sort by
now!
If you were to target KDE (Konqueror) instead you may be able to look at the
cervisia code for a starting place - there's probably a nautilus version but
I don't use Gnome.
I have to ask if talking about Gnome development counts as trolling.....
