I was working with someone over the Microsoft Remote Assistance. TortiseSVN was
already installed under a different user account. That user account was removed
from Windows. TortiseSVN menus were not showing up so I installed again but the
installer just hangs at 50% complete; msiexec.exe is very active in Task
Manager. I had to cancel. I tried again and TortiseSVN gave me the option to
repair or remove. I chose repair, it hung again at 50%. Again I cancelled and
tried again, this time I chose remove, it hung again at 50%. I cancelled
installation again like before. Rebooting seemed to do the trick, the context
menus showed up on the new user.
