Re: [TSVN] Re: TSVNCache deadlock

Just installed 2933.

I see that there now is a timeout on pipe operations.

Pros:
 - You don't have to kill explorer manually.

Cons:
 - It's a hell of a lot harder to find the bug!
 - TSVNCache cycles endlessly, creating new InstanceThread's and
killing the old ones.
 - Did I mention it's harder to find the bug now?
 - The bug's still there - I've waited 5 minutes for a 'open' dialog
to appear...

All in all, a very nasty change, if you ask me..
Increases confusion and doesn't make the cache work better ;-/.

On the bright side, your (Stefan)'s tip of dropping TSVNCache.pdb in
the same folder as the .exe works like a charm. Process Explorer will
show you exactly what method any given thread is running in, what it's
call stack is, etc. Very useful. Except that it now cycles with very
short timeouts, and I can't really keep up...

Attached is test output using rev 2933.
