I haven't the time to delve deeper into the subject (at least right now).

I've been out trying to find some colour pickers, but could only find
ones that were Photoshop plugins :-/. I don't have Photoshop.

You should note that the green shades have been comitted to TSVN trunk,
which means you can test them by downloading the current nightly.
If you are *really* opposed to the new colors, now is a good time to
propose an alternative.
Preferably not a copy/paste of the old colors, as they
 1. contained duplicates
 2. were real damn ugly :-).
