FYI, another reason for this behaviour -- but maybe not applicable to
Jan Kuznik since he uses W2K --, is this scenario:

1. You use WinXP (maybe W2K3 too), or other Windows (see #2)

2. Zip files are managed by WindowsXP - not WinZip or alike. You know,
WinXP does "understand" zip files and let you see them like forlders.
It also happens under every Windows if you use a .zip manager that
lets Windows think your zips are folders.

3. You have overlays enabled.

4. You have a folder with a .zip file with a lot of files inside.

In this scenario, Explorer will/would be "hung" for an amount of time
when you browse the folder containing the .zip - the time TSVN tooks
to "explore" the .zip file looking for status.

Maybe there is an entry in the FAQ about this question? It could
include both scencarios (virus scanner and this "deep-inside" .zip
file searching).

Best regards,

Fernando Nájera
