OK, here is some more info, perhaps it will help.

I tried killing the cache a couple times to see if that would fix it, it
didn't. I then decided to add the registry entry to show the cache tray
icon. I then killed the cache again. This time, when it started back up,
and showed the icon, it worked.

I rebooted. When it came back up, the tray icon still shows but the cache
did not work again. I used the Exit option on the tray icon and restarted
it and it did work again.

I notice when it works there are 4 threads, and when it doesn't there are
2.
