Seriously though, that feature is super nasty compared to how neat the
rest of the UI is, isn't it?

Shouldn't there be some sort of visual indication that the fields are
considered separate?
I know that they're just considered separate beasts when
double-/shift-double-clicking, not when single-clicking, but an
indication would be nice nonetheless.

Or maybe it's just me who thinks that it's nasty.
