Usually the error you are seeing stems from entering the wrong URL.
You must enter the exact URL of the repository - remember ending it
with a '/' slash.

But then you shouldn't be able to see the repository structure
(although TortoiseSVN will show an entry named in accordance to the
URL you entered, which is admittedly a bit confusing).

You could provide more information by sending more detailed error
information from the Apache2 error log. Find it somewhere like
c:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\logs.
