The edit control is very small for a full path with parameters. This
applies even more to the SSH client box. Maybe with a bit of
re-arrangement the edit control could fill the width of the group box.
Most of the time you would see the parameters then.

There is plenty of space for that in the SSH client groupbox, but it is
not so easy with the diff/merge tab.

Maybe the groupbox description could be merged with the groupbox title:

Diff Program - for comparing different revisions of files

Merge Program - used to resolve conflicted files

Diff Viewer - for GNU diff files (patch files)

Or maybe the description of the "Advanced..." button could be converted
to a tooltip.
