In my particular case, I have zipped archives of the files before I put them
into subversion (huge directory structures with document-1.doc, document-2.doc
and so on before I adopted version control). Rather than spend weeks sifting
through my old stuff and transitioning it over, I pull out the stuff I want when
I find that I need access to it. By having the archive in the repository, I have
access to it wherever I check out files. Perhaps there's a better approach on my
part. :)
Either way, thanks for all the effort you guys have put into TortoiseSVN. I
really appreciate all the care put into it that makes it practical for daily use
(specifically, the rich access to functionality in almost every dialog box). I
just wanted to throw the idea out there.
Thanks,
