There comes another enhancment suggestion to my mind:
When using the Repo browser to set the from url of the merge, you can
enter a revision number while selecting the URL of the path. When you
hit OK, you could fill then URL field with the selected url path and the
revision number with the selected revision. Because these two
informations together identify the source in space and time.
