Why? Does it set last-committed timestamps on locally modified files?
No, it doesn't. I have that setting enabled and when using update on a
locally modified file, "last access" and "last modified" do not get
set. If I move that file out of the way and use revert on the
directory (restoring the file), the last access date is set to the
time of revert and last modified is set to last-commit time.
