Hello
I tried to check-out a Unix repository on my Windows machine using
TortoiseSVN. The repository had with two files with nearly identical
filenames in a directory, i.e. they just had a difference in upper/lower
case letters (rbgsteu_if.h and rbgSteu_if.h). It is clear to me, that
these two files cannot exist both in a Windows directory, but the error
message I got was rather cryptic:
In directory 'D:/tmp/mst/mfr/src/rbgsteu'
Can't copy
'D:/tmp/mst/mfr/src/rbgsteu/.svn/tmp/text-base/rbgsteu_if.h.svn-base' to
'D:/tmp/mst/mfr/src/rbgsteu/rbgsteu_if.h.tmp': The system cannot find
the file specified.
I think a clearer error message could help the user to find the reason
much faster - currently you have no possibility detect to the reason
without looking at the original UNIX repository.
